Words From Our Readers
"Much to my delight a copy of this book has found its way into my home today. A friend sent it to me as a loving gift and I am really enjoying it! I have decided this book definitely has wings and even though I have been gluten and dairy free for three years now I feel like I am ready to embrace it more deeply with the loving energy you write in, it feels glorious to read it.
Last night I made the chicken and spinach curry for the whole family. Everyone ate it and my kids most unexpectedly wanted seconds. It's not just the taste they wanted, it was the love it was cooked in, the recipe impressed by love, the loving impulse that led to the creation of this book and the true serving of humanity that graced my family last night at dinner. Another miracle in my home".

"I just wanted to let you know I purchased two copies of your book yesterday. One for me and the other for my mum ("I can't do gf - it's too difficult") on the pretence that she can look through it before I send it to my sister. I gave it to her at 1pm. I phoned her at 5pm and she'd already been up to the shops to purchase some ingredients to make some recipes!! That truely is a 'Bridging' cookbook. Thank you lovely ladies".

"I'd always been tantalised by the challenge to cook, let alone pronounce quinoa ("key-nwa" I'm told). Then I found the yummy recipe in Bridging Foods for a Quinoa Salad (alternative to Tabbouleh, made with cracked wheat). It's lighter and lovelier and become my favourite contribution to BYO meals--goes with everything! This is a prime example of the adventurous, creative and healthy ideas delightfully and clearly presented in this book by Sally and Nicole".

It is with pleasure that I display the ‘Bridging Foods’ book in my waiting room. Some of my clients buy a copy of the book so that they can enjoy it further at home and others like to come early so that they can have another look before their session with me. Most people that get the opportunity to view it say that they love the idea of having a book that is both gluten and dairy free as most books only have one or the other. Some clients report back very excitedly about how they tried a recipe from the book and never realised that GF/DF/YF food could taste so good and with the bonus of not having the family complain about what they have cooked to support their body.

"The Sausage Roast is one of the simplest meals I have ever prepared and one of the most delicious. This recipe lends itself to endless variety - adding different veggies, fresh herbs and sometimes a fresh tomato sauce just to name a few".

"Books - received yesterday. They feel great. Also.... Perfect timing as the cupcakes I made out of a packet for Isabelles 14th birthday failed and my husband used your cupcake recipe to save the day - thank you! I was fast asleep through it all!

"I really love the thai fish cake recipe. They are easy to make, taste delicious and have great flavours. I made some as an entree for a friends birthday party and they were enjoyed by all, adults and children alike".
